Scope of the Studies
- Before the work started, the ship was surrounded with oil barriers against the risk of leakage that may occur during operations, and oil-absorbing materials and plastic barrels were kept ready.
- A total of 21,000 liters of transit diesel fuel (from Tajfun and DELPHINEXXII), which pose a serious marine pollution hazard, were completely removed on January 3, filled into 21 plastic tanks of 1000 liters each and temporarily stored at Ideal Construction under Customs control, and then given to a ship going abroad.
- After that, Delphine XXII was floated, the injured places were temporarily repaired and she was towed to a shipyard in Sevastapol Port of Ukraine with our Pehlivan II tug and delivered to her shipowner.
Our floating crane Hercules, our tugs Reis 6 and Vega 3 were used in the studies.
