Scope of the Studies

After the survey conducted by our divers on May 30, with the agreement in the format of “Wreckfixed 99” made with the owner of the Polyxeni I ship on June 18, the operation of removing the sunken Büyük Çamlıca ship from the sea without harming the environment was undertaken by our company. After the agreement made between the Decoupler of the Polyxeni I ship and our company on August 12, action was taken to start the works.
All operations were carried out under the supervision and control of the P&I Club and the IU Institute of Marine Sciences and Management.

- In the underwater study conducted, it was found that there was no fuel in the tanks of the Büyük Çamlıca ship.

- The Büyük Çamlıca ship, which creates marine pollution, was removed from the sunken place with the help of a crane after the underwater work and refloated and towed to Tuzla.

- After the necessary repairs were made here, it was made floating and connected to the Sedef Shipyard in Tuzla.

In the studies, our floating crane Haşmetli and our tug Pehlivan II were used.
