This policy is communicated to and understood by all our employees so that quality and assurance awareness is carried at every level of our company.
In the context of our OHS-E policies and procedures, the “Stop work” policy means that any employee has the right and obligation to stop work whenever they observe any activity or condition that may pose a risk to personnel, equipment or the environment. This policy is based on the principle that safety is everyone’s responsibility and that all employees have a duty to report unsafe conditions or activities to prevent accidents.
All employees must immediately stop work and report any unsafe condition or activity to their manager, captain or foreman. Managers investigate the situation with the OHSE unit and take necessary measures to eliminate or reduce the risk before resuming work.
With this policy, ARAS MARINE INVESTMENT HOLDING undertakes that all of our employees may stop work in the event of one or more of the following situations. All employees of our company are authorised to stop work when there is something they do not understand or think is not quite right.
If you feel, suspect or see something unsafe, you must “Stop Work!”
Objective:
This policy has been prepared to ensure that all our employees are safe and that work is carried out safely at all times.
Scope:
This policy is established as an expression of the principles that guide our day-to-day business and sets out our expectations that managers, employees, service providers, customers, visitors, and company representatives act in accordance with the law, relevant company policies, and procedures.
This Policy does not discriminate at any level and applies equally to all persons who have a relationship with ARAS MARINE YATIRIM HOLDING and its affiliates.
This policy
i. When an unsafe condition is recognised or occurs;
ii. When the safe working environment is threatened due to an unrecognised situation, action or omission;
iii. Where there has been a change to the original operation plans and this could lead to dangerous behaviour or negligence;
iv. If something can be done to make the work safer
v. In cases where you see someone engaging in dangerous behaviour;
“Stop Work” is required.
In this case, unsafe practices and/or conditions should be reported directly to immediate supervisors, captains, foremen and managers.
If you feel that your report has not been sufficiently taken into consideration, you can contact the OHS-E Unit, which is assigned to handle your complaint under strict confidentiality rules.
Responsibility:
All company employees are responsible for the implementation of this policy. Company management, managers, captains and foremen are responsible for ensuring that the standards set by the policy and procedures are communicated to all employees and that their own behaviour sets a good example.
Furthermore, our Company welcomes any suggestions that may improve the safety of its operations.

Our company holds ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 29001 certifications and delivers services in full compliance with the requirements of national and international standards relevant to its fields of operation. There are no exclusions from the applicable clauses of these standards.
In all its activities, our company adopts a life cycle perspective—starting from raw material procurement through to product realization, logistics, maintenance activities, solid and liquid waste disposal, waste recycling, water and gas emissions, efficient use of resources such as energy and water, and environmental impacts such as climate change.
ARAS DENİZ İNŞAAT has identified internal and external issues relevant to its purpose and strategic direction, as well as those that affect its ability to achieve the intended outcomes of the integrated management systems, in alignment with its Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Policy. As an international company, it evaluates and fulfills local, legal, and applicable requirements accordingly.
To ensure compliance with legal regulations, the company has established relevant processes, procedures, instructions, and documentation; ensures segregation of waste at the source; manages the disposal of hazardous waste through licensed firms; conducts occupational health and safety and environmental measurements (such as noise, vibration, emissions, water analyses, etc.) through accredited institutions; implements necessary measures in the event of limit exceedance; continuously monitors relevant legislation regarding HSE and environmental aspects; and ensures ongoing compliance.
